Dasha Lord Rules (Reference)

Rule 1 – Own Star / Parivarthana

If the planet is in its own star, the Dasha Lord is the Sign Lord.
If the planet and its star lord are in each other's stars (Parivarthana), the Dasha Lord is also the Sign Lord.

Rule 2 – Exalted / Own Sign

If the planet is in its own sign or exaltation sign, the Dasha Lord is the planet's original Star Lord.

Rule 3 – Multiple Occupants

If multiple planets occupy the star of the planet under consideration, the Dasha Lord is the original star lord.

Rule 4 – Single Occupant

If only one planet occupies the star of the planet under consideration, the Dasha Lord is that occupant planet.

Default

If none of the rules apply, the Dasha Lord is the original star lord.
