ఉపోద్ఘాతం

లగ్నం ఆధారంగా ఒకటి నుంచి 12 రాశులను లెక్కించే విధానాన్ని భావాలు అని అంటే, అవి మనిషి జీవితంలో ముఖ్యమైన సుఖ దుఃఖాలను తెలియచేస్తున్నాయి.

ఒక జీవి ఏ విషయం గురించే అయితే ఆనందిస్తాడో అదే విషయం గురించి బాధపడే అవకాశం ఉంది. ఉదాహరణకు ఒక అమ్మాయిని ప్రేమిస్తే ఆ అమ్మాయి మళ్ళీ తిరిగి ప్రేమిస్తే చాలా ఆనందాన్ని ఇస్తుంది, ప్రేమించకపోతే అదే బాధ.

లగ్నం ఆధారంగా లెక్కిస్తే అన్ని భావాలను కొన్ని వర్గాలుగా వర్గీకరించారు వాటి ద్వారా అక్కడ ఏర్పడిన గ్రహ స్థితి ఆధారంగా మనం మరింత మెరుగైన ఫలితాన్ని తెలియజేయవచ్చు.

భావ విభజన

మన అవసరాన్ని జ్యోతిష్యం ద్వారా ఫలితాలు చెప్పాలంటే భావాలను కూడా రకరకాలుగా విభజిస్తే తప్ప మన ఖచ్చితమైన విషయాన్ని తెలియజేయలేకపోతుంటాం, నాకు తెలిసిన కొన్ని భావ విభజన పద్ధతుల వల్ల జ్యోతిష్య ఫలితంలో ఉపయోగం ఎలా ఉంటుందో తెలియజేస్తాను.

పైన పేర్కొన్న విధంగా భావాలను మనం పూర్తిగా అర్థం చేసుకోగలిగినప్పుడు మాత్రమే గ్రహాల ఆధారంగా ఫలితాలు చెప్పగలుగుతాం, ఒక బిడ్డ ఎదగడానికి ఆరోగ్యం, తల్లిదండ్రులు, ప్రకృతి, మంచి మిత్రులు, సమాజం, విద్య ఇలా ఎలా సహకరిస్తాయో ప్రతి విషయం జీవితంలో మంచిగా అనుభవించడానికి ఆ భావాన్ని పూర్తిస్థాయిలో పొందడానికి ఎలా ఇతర భావాల నుంచి సహాయం ఉంది అనేది కూడా చూడాలి.

ఈ వ్యాసంలో ఉన్న ఒక్కొక్క విషయాన్ని మీరు ఫలిత జ్యోతిష్యంలో కచ్చితంగా వాడే విధంగా నేను ఒక అవగాహనను ఇవ్వడానికి ప్రయత్నం చేస్తాను.

ముందుగా లగ్నం నుండి 12 భావాలకి ఉన్న సహజ కారకత్వలు కొన్ని మీకు చెప్తాను.

భావ కారకత్వాలు

సహజంగా ఉంటే కొన్ని భావ కారకత్వాలు తెలియజేస్తున్నాను, సమయాన్ని బట్టి సందర్భాన్ని బట్టి అదే తత్వాన్ని, శుభప్రదం గాను, ఆ శుభప్రదం గాను నిర్ణయించాల్సింది ఉంటుంది.

ఉదాహరణకి చతుర్దంలో ఒక గ్రహం చూడడానికి చాలా బాగుంది. జన్మించిన కొన్ని రోజులకి ఆ గ్రహం వక్కిరించడమో, గోచారంలో ( ప్రస్తుతం ఖగోళంలో తిరిగే గ్రహాలను జన్మజాతక గ్రహాలతో పరిశీలించే విధానం ) రాహు, కేతు వంటి గ్రహ సంచారం వలన అదే భావం వల్ల జాతకుడు ఇబ్బంది పడే అవకాశం కూడా ఉంటుంది.

ప్రస్తుతానికి ఈ కంటితో చూసి ఆ కంటితో వదిలేయండి, వాటంతటావే మీకు అవసరం వచ్చినప్పుడు గుర్తొస్తాయి. అన్ని లగ్నం ఆధారంగా లగ్నం నుంచి లెక్కించాలి.

ధన స్థానం : కుటుంబం, ధన సంబంధమైనవి.

షష్టమ స్తానం : శత్రు, రోగ, రుణస్థానం.
సప్తమ స్తానం : కళ్లత్రం, భార్య, పార్ట్నర్, వ్యాపారం.
అష్టమ స్తానం : ఆయుర్దాయం, శరీరం, ప్రమాదాలు
భాగ్య స్తానం : పితృ స్థానం, గురువు, పూర్వ పుణ్యం

కాలపురుషాంగాలు

మీన రాశులు తల నుండి కాళ్ళ వరకు శరీర భాగాలను తెలియజేస్తాయి. అదేవిధంగా లగ్నం నుండి ద్వాదశ భావం వరకు శరీర భాగాలను చెప్తాయి, నక్షత్రాలు కూడా ఇలానే తెలియజేస్తాయి. నీకు ఆధారంగా శరీరంలో బలమైన అవయవాలు, బలహీనమైన అవయవాలు గుర్తించవచ్చు.

ఒక భావాన్ని పరిశీలించినప్పుడు ఆ బావాధిపతి, భావము బాగున్నప్పటికీ భావకారకుడు బాగోనప్పుడు దానికి సంబంధిత దశలు జరుగుతున్న ఆ భావం వల్ల సమస్యలు ఏర్పడే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది అందుకే బావాధిపతి, భావకారకుడు ముఖ్యము మరియు కాలానికి సంబంధించి దశ మరియు భుక్తి అధిపతులు ( వారి నక్షత్రాధిపతులు ) ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితిని తెలియజేస్తారు.

కారకో భావ

సాంప్రదాయ జ్యోతిష్యంలో కారకులు సంబంధిత రాశుల్లో ఉంటే భావము ఇబ్బంది పడుతుందని వివరించారు, అయితే దీన్ని యధాతధంగా అనుసరించలేము, పంచమ స్థానంలో గురువు ఉన్నంత మాత్రాన పిల్లలు కలగకుండా ఉండరు. సప్తమంలో శుక్రుడు ఉన్నంత మాత్రాన వివాహం జరగడం ఆగదు.

కాబట్టి రాశ్యాదిపతిని, ఆ రాశిలో బలమైన గ్రహం యొక్క నక్షత్రాధిపతిని, దశనాధుని ఇలా చాలా విషయాలు పరిశీలించి నిర్ణయించాల్సింది ఉంటుంది.

ధర్మ, అర్ధ, కామ, మోక్ష స్థానాలు

ఈ విషయాన్ని సంక్షిప్తంగా మన వాడుక భాషలో చెప్పే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తాను, ఎందుకంటే మనకు అర్థమైతేనే ప్రతి జాతక చక్రంలో పరిశీలన సులువు అవుతుంది.

ధర్మస్థానాలు

1, 5, 9

ధర్మో రక్షిత రక్షితః — మనం ఎదుటి వాళ్లు పట్ల బాగుంటే, వాళ్లు మన పట్ల బావుండే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది. ఈ స్థానాలలో గ్రహాలు సరైన విధంగా ఉన్నప్పుడు ఆ జాతకుడు ధర్మవంతుడు అవుతాడు.

అర్థ స్థానాలు

2, 6, 10

మనిషి మనుగడకు మరక ద్రవ్యం లేనిదే జానెడు పొట్ట నిండదు. శక్తి కొద్ది పని చేస్తేనే దానం దొరుకుతుంది. ఆ వ్యక్తి ఎంత సమృద్ధిగా డబ్బు పొందగలుగుతాడు అనేది తెలియజేస్తాయి.

కామ స్థానాలు

3, 7, 11

కామం అంటే కోరిక అని అర్థం. రుచికరమైన భోజనం, అందమైన వివాహం, మంచి కారు, మంచి ఇల్లు. ఈ స్థానాలలో గ్రహాలు అనుకూలిస్తే అన్ని రకాల సుఖాలను పొందే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది.

మోక్షస్థానాలు

4, 8, 12

కోరికలు అన్ని అనుభవించేసి, ఏది అవసరంలేని స్థితిలో మోక్షాన్ని పొందే అవకాశం ఏర్పడుతుంది.

ఈ నాలుగింటిని రెండు భాగాలుగా విభజించవచ్చు, అర్ధాన్ని కామానికి, ధర్మాన్ని మోక్షానికి కలిపేయవచ్చు. దీనినే materialistic & spiritual అని అనవచ్చు.

Materialistic Combinations: ఏదైనా ఒక వ్యక్తి జీవితంలో materialistic కాంబినేషన్స్ ఉంటే ఆ వ్యక్తి అదే విషయంలో ఏ అడ్డంకి లేకుండా ముందుకు వెళ్లిపోతాడు. కుజ, శుక్ర, రాహు వంటి గ్రహాలు ఈ స్థానాలకు సంబంధాన్ని కలిగి ఉంటూ ఉంటాయి.

Spiritual Combinations: ఒక జాతకుడికి కేవలం స్పిరిచువల్ కాంబినేషన్స్ మాత్రమే ఉంటే ఏ గొడవ లేకుండా అదే విషయంలో పురోగతిని సాధిస్తాడు. శని, గురు, కేతు గ్రహాలు ఆ స్థానాలకి సంబంధాన్ని కలిగి ఉంటాయి.

పెద్ద చిక్కేంటంటే ఈ రెండు spiritual and materialistic కాంబినేషన్స్ ఒకే జాతకంలో ఉంటే ఆ వ్యక్తి యొక్క జీవితంలో ప్రతి ఒక్క కోరికను తీర్చుకోవడానికి ఏదో ఒక అడ్డంకి కలుగుతూనే ఉంటుంది.

ప్రతి వ్యక్తి కర్మను అనుభవించడానికి పుడుతూ, ఎంతో కొంత పూర్వ జన్మలో మోక్ష సాధనను చేసి ఉంటాడు. భక్తి, దైవం పై నమ్మకం జీవితంలో కష్టాలు వచ్చినప్పుడు కలుగుతాయి, ఆ వ్యక్తి యొక్క స్పిరిచ్యువల్ అభివృద్ధికి కష్టాలు తోడ్పడుతూ, ఆ విషయంపై విషయాసక్తి తగ్గాక ఫలితాన్ని పొందుతూ ఉంటాడు. ఇది మనం చాలా జాగ్రత్తగా పరిశీలించాలల్సి ఉంటుంది.

అంటే కుజ శుక్రుల సంబంధాలను, శని గురుకేతుల సంబంధాలను, కామ మోక్ష స్థానాలను జాగ్రత్తగా పరిశీలించాలి.

కేంద్రాలు, కోణాలు, ఫణి ఫరాలు, అప్పోక్లిమాలు

కేంద్ర స్తానాలు : 1, 4, 7, 10 వీటిని కేంద్ర స్తానాలంటారు. ఏ విషయమైనా పట్టుదలగా సాధించాలంటే ఈ కేంద్రాలు బలంగా ఉండాలి.

కేంద్రాల యొక్క ప్రాముఖ్యత ఒక చిన్న ఉదాహరణతో మీకు వివరిస్తాను. లగ్నం ఒక వ్యక్తి యొక్క ఆరోగ్యాన్ని, సామర్థ్యాన్ని తెలియజేస్తుంది. తన సామర్థ్యంతో ( చదువు, జ్ఞానం ) ఉద్యోగం తెచ్చుకోవడానికి అవకాశం ఉంటుంది, ఈ ఉద్యోగం దశమ స్థానం నుంచి పరిశీలించాలి. సరైన ఉద్యోగం వల్ల వ్యక్తి వివాహం చేసుకోవడానికి సుముఖంగా ఉంటాడు. ఈ వివాహం సప్తమ స్థానం నుండి పరిశీలించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. వివాహం తర్వాత జీవిత స్థిరత్వానికై గృహము వంటిది ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవాలనుకుంటారు, ఇది చతుర్ధ స్థానం నుంచి పరిశీలిస్తారు.

ఈ విధంగా జాతకుడికి ప్రాథమిక కనీస సుఖాలు ఈ కేంద్ర స్థానాలు తెలియజేస్తాయి, కేంద్ర స్థానాలు సరిగా లేనట్లయితే ఆ వ్యక్తి జీవితంలో కష్టపడి సాధించడం అనేది సందేహమే.

కోణ స్తానాలు : లగ్నం నుండి 1, 5, 9 స్థానాలను కోన స్థానాలని అంటారు. ఇది సహజంగా అదృష్టాన్ని తెలియజేస్తాయి. కోణాధిపతులు, కోణ స్థానాలు శుభప్రదమైన ఆ జాతకుడు అదృష్టవంతుడు. ఎందుకంటే తొమ్మిదవ స్థానం గత జన్మ పూర్వపుణ్యాన్ని, పంచమ స్థానం గత జన్మ అంటే ముందు జన్మలో చేసుకున్న పూర్వ పుణ్యాన్ని తెలియజేస్తుంది. లగ్నం ప్రస్తుత జన్మన తెలియజేస్తుంది. లగ్నం యొక్క మరో విశేషము అది కేంద్రము, కోణము అవ్వడం.

ఒక సినిమాలో చాలా పాపులర్ డైలాగ్ ఏంటంటే ఎవడి తో అయినా పెట్టుకోవచ్చు గానీ అదృష్టవంతుడితో పెట్టుకోలేము. ఎందుకంటే వాడికి అన్నీ అనుకూలంగానే జరుగుతాయి.

రాజయోగం : ఎప్పుడైతే కేంద్ర స్థానాలు, కోణ స్థానాల సంబంధాన్ని పొందుతాయో అది రాజయోగం అవుతుంది. కేంద్రాలు కష్టాన్ని తెలియజేస్తే, కోణస్థానాలు పూర్వకర్మ అదృష్టాన్ని తెలియజేస్తాయి.

ఎప్పుడైతే కేంద్ర కోణాధిపతులు కేంద్రాధిపత్యం పడితే, ఆ జాతకుడు చేసిన కష్టానికి ఎక్కువ రేట్లు ఫలితాన్ని అదృష్టం వల్ల పొందుతాడు.

అదే కేంద్ర కోణాధిపతులు కోణ స్థానంలో కలిసిన కేవలం అదృష్టం వల్ల అభివృద్ధిలోకి వస్తాడు. ఈ సందర్భంలో కష్టం కన్నా జీవితం అదృష్టంతో సాగిపోతూ ఉంటుంది.

ఫణిఫర స్థానాలు : (2, 5, 8, 11) prevention houses ఇవి, కేంద్ర స్థానాలకు పక్కన, అపో క్లిమస్థానాలకి ముందుగా ఉండే స్థానాలను పని పరస్థానాలు అని అంటారు. ఇది ఒక రోగం వచ్చే ముందు జాగ్రత్త ఎలా తీసుకుంటారో అలా జాగ్రత్తను ఈ స్థానాలు తెలియజేస్తాయి.

లగ్నం సామర్థ్యాన్ని తెలియజేస్తే, ద్వితీయం సామర్థ్యం వల్ల వచ్చే ధనాన్ని తెలియజేస్తుంది. తృతీయం అష్టమాత్ అష్టమము అయితే ఆ సమస్య నుంచి కాపాడడానికి ద్వితీయము సహాయపడుతుంది. రెండు నోరు అయితే, మూడు ఊరు అవుతుంది. అంటే నోరు మంచిదైతే ఊరు మంచిదంటారు కదా, అలా అన్నమాట.

ఒక భావానికి వ్యయ, ధన భావాల ప్రభావం

ఒక విషయాన్ని మనం సరిగ్గా గమనిస్తే లగ్నం నుంచి ద్వితీయము దాని అభివృద్ధి, తృతీయానికి ద్వితీయము కాపాడడం. తృతీయంలో సమస్య వస్తే, ద్వితీయం సరిగా లేకుంటే ఆ సమస్య మరింత పెద్దగా అవడం. ఇలా ప్రతి రాసి ముందు తర్వాత రాశుల్లో, ప్రతి నక్షత్రం ముందు తర్వాత నక్షత్రాలలో అనుకూలత, ప్రతికూలత ప్రభావాలను మనం పరిశీలించవచ్చు.

చతుర్ధ కేంద్రం ఇల్లు అయితే ఇలాంటి స్థిరాస్తులను పంచమమైన పిల్లల కోసం దాయడం సహజం. అలాగే ఆరు రోగస్థానం అయితే, రోగాల నుంచి ఆరోగ్యాన్ని కాపాడుకోవడం కూడా పంచమస్థానమే అవుతుంది.

సప్తమ స్థానం కళత్ర స్థానం అయితే, ఎనిమిదవ స్థానము, దాని నుంచి రెండవ స్థానం అవ్వడం వల్ల భార్య యొక్క ధనము, వరకట్నం, ఆకస్మిక ధన ప్రాప్తి, ఆయుర్దాయము ఇలాంటి విషయాలను తెలియజేస్తుంది. తొమ్మిదవ స్థానము భాగ్యస్థానము కావడం వల్ల, ప్రమాదాల భారీ పడకుండా ఉంటే మన భాగ్యము కాపాడబడుతుంది.

ఉద్యోగం ద్వారా వచ్చిన సంపద ఏకాదశంగా సూచించవచ్చు, ద్వాదశము ఖర్చు అయితే అది జాగ్రత్తగా ఉంటే ఏకాదశము మనకి మిగులుతుంది. అదేం లేదండి అనవసరపు ఖర్చులు లేకపోతే మన డబ్బులు సేఫ్.

ఒక వ్యక్తి యొక్క జాగ్రత్త ఏ విధంగా ఉందని ఈ ఫణిఫరాల నుంచి మనం విశ్లేషణ చేయడానికి ప్రయత్నించవచ్చు.

అపోక్లిమ స్థానాలు : (3, 6, 9, 12): ఈ స్థానాలు ఒడిదుడుకులు, అనిశ్చితులు లేదా సవాళ్లతో కూడిన జీవన ప్రాంతాలను సూచిస్తాయి. ఈ స్థానాలు సహజంగా ఖర్చు చూపిస్తాయి, రోగాల ద్వారా ఖర్చవచ్చు, నష్టాల ద్వారా అవొచ్చు, పూర్వ పుణ్యాన్ని కూడా ఖర్చు చేయాల్సింది ఉంటుంది, తృతీయం విపత్తును సూచిస్తుంది.

ఇలా అన్ని గ్రహాలు, దశకు ఏ విధంగా ఏ భావాలతో సంబంధాన్ని వచ్చాయనేది జాగ్రత్తగా పరిశీలిస్తూ, జరిగిన ఫలితాలను గమనిస్తూ భవిష్యత్తును అంచనా వేయాల్సి ఉంటుంది.

మారక స్థానాలు : ఏ లగ్నానికైనా 2, 7 స్థానాలను మారక స్థానాలని పిలుస్తారు, దీనికి చతుర్దముతోను, బాధక స్థానంతోనే సంబంధం ఏర్పడిన ఆ వ్యక్తి ఇక భూమిపై కనబడడు.

భాధక స్థానాలు : లగ్నాలను మూడు రకాలుగా విభజించారు, అవి చర, స్థిర, ద్విస్వభావ లగ్నాలు ( వరుసగా మేషం, వృషభం, మిధునం, ఇలా మూడు మూడుగా పరిగణలకు తీసుకోవాలి )

బాధక స్థానం అనేది శారీరక కష్టాన్ని తెలియజేస్తుంది, ఒక జీవి తన శరీరం నుంచి ప్రాణం బయటికి వెళ్లేటప్పుడు విపరీత యాతనను అనుభవించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. దానిని బాధక స్థానం నుంచి పరిశీలించవలసి ఉంటుంది. కొన్ని సందర్భాలలో రోగం వచ్చినప్పుడు, మరికొన్ని సందర్భాలలో సందర్భాన్ని ఎదుర్కొనే కష్టం. కొంతమంది అభిప్రాయం ఇది కేవలం ఆరోగ్య విషయాల్లోనే పరిశీలించాలి.

చర లగ్నాలకు ఏకాదశం, స్థిర లగ్నాలకు భాగ్యస్థానం, ద్విస్వభావ లగ్నాలకు సప్తమ స్థానం బాధక స్థానాలు అవుతున్నాయి.

ఉపచయాలు, అపచయాలు

మీ ఇల్లు ఎక్కడ అంటే, మా అంకుల్ వాళ్ళ ఇంటి పక్కన, మరి అంకుల్ వాళ్ళ ఇల్లు ఎక్కడ అంటే మా ఇంటి పక్కనే అమ్మో….. ఇలానే ఉంది ఉపచయ అపచయ స్థానాల కథ.

ఉపచయ స్తానాలు : పాప గ్రహాలు ఉపచయ స్థానాల్లో ఉంటే ఆ వ్యక్తికి పోరాటంతో సాధించుకోగలిగే శక్తి ఉంటుంది. ఈ స్థానాల్లో ఉన్న గ్రహాల వల్ల జీవితంలో జాతకుడు వయసు పెరిగే కొద్దీ పురోగతిని సాధించే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది.

ఇది ఎలా అనేది మనం లాజికల్ గా పరిశీలిస్తే చాలా అద్భుతంగా జాతక విశ్లేషణలో ఉపయోగపడుతుంది.

తృతీయ స్థానం : సామర్థ్యం, గట్టి ప్రయత్నం, విక్రమ క్షేత్రం, సహకారం వంటి విషయాలను సూచిస్తాయి.

షష్ట స్థానం : శత్రు రోగ రుణ స్థానం, పోరాటము, సమస్యను ఆలోచనతో ఎదురుకోవడంతో విజయం సాధిస్తాం.

దశమ స్థానం : కర్మ స్థానం, రాజ్యస్థానం, అధికారం, ఉద్యోగం, పనిచేయ కలిగే శక్తి, జ్ఞానం కలిగి ఉండడం.

Only when we fully understand the houses as described above can we predict results based on planets. Just as health, parents, nature, good friends, society, and education all contribute to a child's growth, we must also examine how support from other houses helps in fully experiencing every aspect of life.

I will try to give you an understanding of each topic in this article so that you can use it precisely in predictive astrology.

First, I will share some natural significations (Karakatwas) of the 12 houses from the Ascendant (Lagna).

House Significations (Bhava Karakatwas)

I am sharing some natural house significations. Depending on the time and context, the same principle must be judged as auspicious or inauspicious.

For example, a planet in the 4th house may appear very favorable. But if that planet goes retrograde a few days after birth, or due to the transit (Gochara) of planets like Rahu and Ketu, the native may face difficulties from that very same house.

For now, read through this lightly and let it go - these things will come to you naturally when you need them. Everything must be counted from the Ascendant (Lagna).

Body Parts of the Cosmic Being (Kalapurushangas)

The signs from Aries to Pisces represent body parts from head to feet. Similarly, the houses from the Ascendant to the 12th house indicate body parts, and the Nakshatras also indicate them in the same way. Based on this, we can identify strong and weak organs in the body.

When examining a house, even if the house lord and the house itself are well-placed, if the house significator is afflicted, problems may arise from that house during its related planetary periods (Dashas). Therefore, the house lord, house significator, and in terms of timing, the Dasha and Bhukti lords (their Nakshatra lords) reveal the current situation.

Karako Bhava (Nashaya)

In traditional astrology, it is explained that when significators (Karakas) are placed in their corresponding signs, the house suffers. However, this cannot be followed literally - just because Jupiter is in the 5th house does not mean children will not be born. Just because Venus is in the 7th house does not mean marriage will not happen.

Therefore, we must examine the sign lord, the Nakshatra lord of the strongest planet in that sign, the Dasha lord, and many other factors before making a determination.

Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha Houses

I will try to explain this briefly in our common language, because only when we understand it can examination of each horoscope become easy.

Dharma Houses (Righteousness)

1, 5, 9

"Dharmo Rakshita Rakshitah" — if we treat others well, they are likely to treat us well. When planets are well-placed in these houses, the native becomes a righteous person.

Artha Houses (Wealth)

2, 6, 10

For human survival, without money, even a small stomach cannot be filled. Every person must work to earn their sustenance. These houses indicate how abundantly a person can accumulate wealth.

Kama Houses (Desire)

3, 7, 11

Kama means desire — from wanting delicious food, to a beautiful marriage, a good car, a nice house. When planets are favorable in these houses, there is a chance to enjoy all kinds of comforts.

Moksha Houses (Liberation)

4, 8, 12

After experiencing all desires, when one reaches a state where nothing is needed, the opportunity for liberation (Moksha) arises.

These four can be divided into two groups — Artha can be combined with Kama, and Dharma with Moksha. This can be called materialistic & spiritual.

Materialistic Combinations: If a person has materialistic combinations in their life, they will move forward in that matter without any obstacles. Planets like Mars, Venus, and Rahu tend to have connections to these houses.

Spiritual Combinations: If a native has only spiritual combinations, they will progress in spiritual matters without any hindrance. Saturn, Jupiter, and Ketu are the planets that have connections to these houses.

The big complication arises when both spiritual and materialistic combinations exist in the same horoscope — in that person's life, some obstacle will keep arising in fulfilling every desire.

Every person is born to experience their karma, and to some extent, they would have done spiritual practice in a previous life. Devotion and faith in God arise when difficulties come in life — hardships contribute to the person's spiritual development, and when attachment to the subject diminishes, they receive the results. We must examine this very carefully.

That is, we must carefully examine the relationships of Mars-Venus, Saturn-Jupiter-Ketu, and the Kama-Moksha houses.

Quadrants (Kendras), Trines (Konas), Panapharas, and Apoklimas

Quadrant Houses (Kendra Sthanas): Houses 1, 4, 7, 10 are called Quadrant houses. These must be strong for achieving anything with determination.

I will explain the importance of Quadrants with a small example. The Ascendant reveals a person's health and capability. With their capability (education, knowledge), there is an opportunity to get a job — this should be examined from the 10th house. With a proper job, the person becomes willing to marry — examined from the 7th house. After marriage, they want to establish a home for life stability — examined from the 4th house.

In this way, Quadrant houses indicate the basic minimum comforts for the native. If they are not properly placed, it is doubtful whether that person can achieve anything through hard work.

Trine Houses (Kona Sthanas): Houses 1, 5, 9 are called Trine houses. They naturally indicate fortune. The 9th house indicates past-life merit, the 5th house indicates merit from the life before the previous one, and the Ascendant indicates the present life. A special feature of the Ascendant is that it is both a Quadrant and a Trine.

A popular movie dialogue says — you can mess with anyone, but never mess with a fortunate person. Because everything works out in their favor.

Raja Yoga: When Quadrant and Trine houses form a connection, it becomes a Raja Yoga. Quadrants indicate hard work, while Trines indicate fortune from past karma.

When Quadrant-Trine lords are placed in Quadrant houses, the native receives many times more results than their hard work through fortune. When they combine in Trine houses, the native progresses purely through fortune.

Panaphara Houses: (2, 5, 8, 11) These are prevention houses. They indicate the kind of precaution one takes before a disease strikes.

If the Ascendant indicates capability, the 2nd house indicates the wealth from that capability. Since the 3rd house is the 8th from the 8th, the 2nd house helps in protection. As the saying goes — if the mouth is good, the town calls you good.

Influence of Expenditure and Wealth Houses

If we observe carefully, the 2nd from the Ascendant represents its growth, and the 2nd from the 3rd represents its protection. If a problem arises in the 3rd house and the 2nd house is not well-placed, that problem becomes even bigger.

If the 4th Quadrant is the house, it is natural to save such fixed assets for children (5th). Similarly, if the 6th is the disease house, protecting health from diseases is also the function of the 5th house.

If the 7th house is the spouse house, the 8th house indicates the wife's wealth, dowry, sudden financial gains, longevity. Since the 9th is the fortune house, if one is not burdened by accidents, their fortune is protected.

Wealth from employment can be indicated as the 11th house. If the 12th represents expenses managed carefully, the 11th remains. Simply — no unnecessary expenses, money is safe.

Apoklima Houses: (3, 6, 9, 12): These indicate areas of life with ups and downs, uncertainties, or challenges. They naturally show expenditure — through diseases, losses, or even spending past-life merit.

Maraka Houses: For any Ascendant, the 2nd and 7th houses are called Maraka houses. When these form a connection with the 4th and Badhaka house, that person will no longer be on this earth.

Badhaka Houses: Ascendants are divided into three types — Movable (Chara), Fixed (Sthira), and Dual (Dwiswabhava). The Badhaka house indicates physical suffering.

For Movable Ascendants, the 11th; for Fixed Ascendants, the 9th; and for Dual Ascendants, the 7th become the Badhaka houses.

Upachaya (Growing) and Apachaya (Declining) Houses

If you ask "Where is your house?" — "Next to my uncle's house." And "Where is your uncle's house?" — "Right next to our house." This is exactly how the story of Upachaya and Apachaya houses goes!

Upachaya Houses: When malefic planets are in Upachaya houses, the person has the strength to achieve through struggle. The native has the opportunity to progress as they age.

Third House: Capability, determined effort, field of valor, cooperation.

Sixth House: House of enemies, diseases, and debts. Victory through facing problems with thoughtful approach.

Tenth House: House of karma, kingdom, authority, employment, working ability, knowledge.

Eleventh House: Obtaining effortless gains.

Since we live in society, it is impossible to live without connection to others. Our horoscope indicates the Lagna, while the 7th house indicates society and the person opposite to us.

A malefic in the 3rd house means we achieve through struggle — it functions like a malefic in the 9th (fortune) for the opposite person. Our determination can plunder another's fortune — the reward others give for our hard work.

The 6th house as our struggle house functions as expenditure for the other person. A malefic in our 11th means people with spending tendencies come our way, providing opportunity for greater wealth.

The 10th is the victory house, the 4th is comfort. Others hire us to achieve their comfort, and give us money in return. Strong malefics like Sun, Mars, Ketu in the 10th bring wealth through exceptional authority.

Apachaya Houses: Houses that are not Upachaya become Apachaya — houses 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 12. These are useful in later stages of life. All must be experienced in this lifetime, because none are permanent.

Dusthanas (Evil Houses) and Viparita Yogas

Houses 6, 8, 12 are called Dusthanas and Trikas.

The 9th house represents the previous life. The 10th from the 9th is the 6th from the current Ascendant. Based on past karma, fortune, disease, employment, enemies, debts, and karmic bonds may form.

The 8th is the longevity house, the 12th another Dusthana. Planets in these houses naturally give inauspicious results. But in special circumstances, they can give unexpectedly auspicious results — Viparita Yogas form through these houses.

Viparita Yogas: When the 6th lord is in the 6th, 8th, or 12th, it is called a Viparita Yoga. The same principle applies to other Trika lords.

When the 6th lord is in its own sign, due to absence of past karma defect, the native progresses without disease. Similarly, when the 8th and 12th lords are in own signs, the native gains from longevity and investments.

In some cases, when Viparita Yogas connect with Yoga Karaka lords, they give abundantly auspicious results.

Bhavat Bhavam (House from House)

We examine a particular house for every aspect from the Ascendant. To reach each house, a certain distance must be traversed. Counting the same distance again from that house to examine another house is called Bhavat Bhavam (house from house).

It is customary to examine the 5th house for progeny. The 5th from the 5th becomes the 9th (fortune). Both the 5th and 9th are examined for children predictions.

Since the 6th is the disease house, the 6th from the 6th becomes the 11th. When the Dasha lord has connections to both 6th and 11th, recovering from disease will be very difficult. A good example: Venus for Sagittarius Ascendant.

The 6th indicates domestic pets, the 11th indicates larger animals like cows and buffaloes. Using houses in various ways depending on need is natural.

However, since we use Stellar Astrology, there is no real need to look at all of this. Knowing such a method exists is sufficient.

Shashtashtaka (6-8 Relationship) and Dwidwadasha

In traditional astrology, when a malefic planet is in the 6th or 8th from another planet, it is considered troublesome. Both planets' Dasha periods give bad results.

Shashtashtaka between any planets is a defect, but between Saturn and Mars it is considered auspicious. Saturn being 6th from Mars becomes a great distinction.

When malefics are on both sides (2nd and 12th) of a planet, that planet is in Papakartari (hemmed by malefics) and will not give expected results.

In Western astrology, planetary progression is used — imagining the planet's movement by one degree per year and examining aspects formed. In traditional astrology, planets in Shashtashtaka eventually move to form trines (120 degrees), bringing favorable results later in life.

For now, try to understand this concept. By the time you study Western astrology, all of this will be a walk in the park.

Support of Other Houses for a House

Supporting houses — generally, the 7th is the marriage house. If the 5th and 9th from the 7th are well-placed, there will be no difficulty, as they are the past-life merit houses for that house.

The 3rd house relates to approaching the marriage proposal and negotiations. The 7th represents married life and happiness.

The 5th from the 7th (the 11th house) indicates children and happiness from the spouse.

The remaining nine houses also contribute in some way to sustaining the marriage. For every house, along with primary houses, there are supporting houses.

Viewing 12 Houses for a Single Context

In the context of marriage, the 7th house is the primary house.

Expenditure House and Adverse House for Each House

Astrologer Shri KS Krishna Murthy garu — Author of KP System — explained this wonderfully.

When examining any house, if the Dasha and Bhukti lords indicate the expenditure house (12th from it), achieving that matter becomes very difficult.

Example: For Cancer Ascendant, examining progeny — if the Dasha lord is favorable to the 5th and 11th, children come easily. If Venus Dasha comes being the 4th and 11th lord, and Venus is in the 11th in Moon's Nakshatra indicating only the Badhaka 11th, and being the 4th lord (12th from 5th = expenditure of progeny), giving progeny results becomes very difficult.

Similarly, indicating the 3rd instead of 4th for house construction, or 8th instead of 9th for education, brings difficulties.

For Leo Ascendant, just because Saturn lords the 6th and 7th, one should not assume marriage will not happen.

Karmic Bonds (Runanubandham) - Houses

Every bond in the world is formed through karmic debt. Due to the karmic fruit of some lifetime, we either give to or take from others.

Life is like a train journey. When someone's station arrives, they get off. Until then we chat and laugh, new people board — all very natural.

Example 1

Near our house, there were twin brothers. The elder was constructing a house, but the younger suffered from a serious health problem and unfortunately passed away.

This tragic event negatively activated the 3rd house (younger sibling) in the elder brother's horoscope. As a result, the elder had to stop house construction due to lack of funds.

The 3rd house being the expenditure house of the 4th caused a defect to the 4th house.

Example 2

A political leader contested in elections. During the campaign, the leader's mother passed away. The 4th house (mother and domestic peace) was negatively activated. As a result, the leader suffered defeat in those elections.

The 4th house indicates matters like chair, throne, and authority.

Example 3

If a leg of a chair in your house breaks, in astrology this indicates a health problem for your mother. The 4th house (throne/seat) breaking negatively signals the 3rd house (expenditure of the 4th).

The 4th house (mother) may experience health problems or loss of authority.

Example 4

If you go to a shop and buy a cool drink, you pay money (5th house expenditure) and receive the product as a gain (11th house).

This same 11th house becomes the 5th house in the shopkeeper's horoscope — he loses the cool drink, and our 5th house expenditure becomes his 11th house gain.

This illustrates how karmic bonds exist for giving or receiving various things in our lives.

Conclusion (Mugimpu)

Summary

When we know how much dominance a planet has over which house, we can easily give predictions.

The sign lord holds only 25 percent strength. If no planets are in the sign lord's signs or Nakshatras, the house lord and its Nakshatra lord together give approximately 75 percent of the results, and the house significator gives 25 percent.

A single planet may give favorable results in some matters (like employment) but not in others (like marriage). With experience, understanding will come naturally.
