The Resource score measures a planet's dignity and affliction — its inherent strength or weakness based on sign placement, nakshatra position, and planetary relationships. Maximum score: 40 marks out of the total Planet Capacity.

Overview
Resource is one of three components in Planet Capacity. While Light measures directional purity and Performance measures functional role, Resource evaluates a planet's inherent quality based on classical dignity and affliction rules.

Three-Column Structure
Each planet's Resource is evaluated across three columns, each with its own weight. The same dignity/affliction rules apply to each column, but the planet being evaluated differs.

Maximum = 24 + 10 + 6 = 40 marks
Scoring per column: Each column scores 0–100 independently. The column score is then multiplied by its weight and by the Resource factor (0.40) to produce marks.

Positive dignities increase a planet's Resource score. They are evaluated in order of strength, and multiple dignities can stack (unless overridden by the Premium Dignity Rule).

Negative afflictions reduce the Resource score. They represent weaknesses, combative states, and unfavorable placements. Multiple afflictions can stack (unless Premium Dignity applies).

Uses the same 5-fold friendship system as the Friendly/Neutral dignity. When the combined result (Permanent + Temporary) is Enemy or Bitter Enemy, the planet receives a -20 penalty.
