కాలం ( భూత, భవిష్యత్తు, వర్తమానాలు) గురించి తెలుసుకోవడానికి ప్రపంచంలో ఉన్న ఏకైక మార్గం జ్యోతిష్యం.
ఏదైనా ఒక దాని గురించి ఊహించడానికి, దానికి సంబంధించిన గతంలో జరిగిన కొంత సమాచారం కావాలి. కానీ అలాంటిది ఏదీ తీసుకోకుండా కేవలం జన్మ వివరాలతో మన పూర్వ కర్మ నుంచి మొదలుకొని ప్రస్తుతము మరియు భవిష్యత్తు గురించి అంచనా వేయడం మామూలు విషయం కాదు. అది కూడా కేవలం గ్రహాలను పరిశీలించి.
మహర్షులు మనం పుట్టినప్పుడు గ్రహాలను ఒక ఫోటో తీస్తే అదే మన జన్మ జాతకం, ఎన్ని గంటలకు తీశారు ఆ సమయమే జన్మ లగ్నం, దీనినే జన్మ కుండలి అంటారు.

360 డిగ్రీల రాశి చక్రాన్ని 12 సమాన భాగాలుగా విభజించారు. ప్రతి రాశి 30 డిగ్రీలు.
నక్షత్రాలు (27)
రాశి చక్రంలో 27 నక్షత్రాలు అమర్చారు. ప్రతి నక్షత్రం 13.20 డిగ్రీలు.
గ్రహాలు (9)
రవి, చంద్ర, కుజ, బుధ, గురు, శుక్ర, శని, రాహు, కేతు. వీటి స్థానం ఫలితం చెప్తుంది.
రాశి చక్రాన్ని భూమిగా, నక్షత్రాలను రహదారులుగా, గ్రహాలను వాహనాలుగా ఊహించుకోండి. రహదారులు, భూమి స్థిరమైనవి — వాహనాలు మాత్రమే కదులుతాయి.

గ్రహగమనం
పంచతారాగ్రహాలు (కుజ, బుధ, గురు, శుక్ర, శని) కొన్ని సందర్భాలలో వక్రిస్తాయి. రవి చంద్రులకు వక్రత్వం ఉండదు. వక్ర గ్రహం ఏ భావంలో ఉంటే అక్కడ ఓడిదుడుకులు కనిపిస్తాయి.

గ్రహాలు ఉచ్చ పొందడం అంటే అవి బలమైన ప్రదేశంలో ఉన్నాయని, నీచ పొందడం అంటే అత్యంత బలహీనమైన ప్రదేశంలో ఉన్నాయని అర్థం.
గ్రహమైత్రి
మనకెలా అయితే సొంత ఇంట్లో ఉంటే ఆనందం, మిత్రుడి ఇంటికి వెళితే మర్యాదలు జరుగుతాయో, అలాగే ఈ గ్రహాలకు కూడా స్వక్షేత్రాలు, మిత్ర శతృ క్షేత్రాలు ఉంటాయి.

లగ్న యోగ కారకులు

మేష లగ్నానికి లగ్నాధిపతి అయిన కుజుడు దశమ స్థానంలో శ్రవణా నక్షత్రంలో ఉండి, చంద్రుడు + గురువు తొమ్మిదవ స్థానంలో ఉత్తరాషాడ నక్షత్రంలో ఉంటే అది గొప్ప ఫలితాన్ని కచ్చితంగా ఇస్తుంది.
లగ్నాధిపతి దశమ స్థితిని పొందడం + కేంద్రాధిపతయిన చంద్రుడు కోణాధిపతి అయిన గురువుతో కలవడం = రాజయోగం.
Introduction
Astrology (Jyotishyam) is the only means in the world to understand time — past, future, and present. To predict anything, you usually need some past information related to it. But to estimate one's past karma, present, and future merely from birth details — and that too just by observing the planets — is no ordinary matter.
The great sages said: if you take a snapshot of the planets at the moment of birth, that becomes the birth horoscope (Janma Jatakam). The time at which it was taken is the birth ascendant (Janma Lagnam), and this is called the birth chart (Janma Kundali).
In my view, Parashari Jyotish is the father, grandfather, and great-grandfather of all astrological systems in the world.

Before learning astrology, three things must be understood:
Rashis / Signs (12)
The 360° zodiac divided into 12 equal parts. Each Rashi spans 30 degrees.
Nakshatras / Stars (27)
27 constellations arranged in the zodiac. Each Nakshatra spans 13°20'.
Grahas / Planets (9)
Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu — their positions give results.
Think of the Rashi Chakra as the Earth, the Nakshatras as roads, and the planets as vehicles traveling on them. The Earth and roads are fixed — only vehicles move.

Raja Yoga Example Mesha Lagnam
For Mesha (Aries) ascendant: if the ascendant lord Mars is in the 10th house in Shravana nakshatra, and Moon + Jupiter are in the 9th house in Uttarashadha nakshatra — this combination guarantees exceptional results.
Ascendant lord in 10th + Kendra lord (Moon) conjunct Kona lord (Jupiter) = Raja Yoga.
